Pedro Miguel Boat Club - People

The club not only sits in a unique location but has a great marina team with Jim and Heather as managers. They met and warmly welcomed us as we arrived. The Saturday pot-luck dinners were fun times to meet the cruisers and long term club members. Restaurants, shopping and reprovisioning were a short ride away in Balboa or Panama City. The connection to the internet was free. (Unfortunately the use of Linux on their computer server was the only bad experience at the club. Those of us that had our own LAN software on notebooks were able to bypass it.) It was hard for us to leave this place!

	The "Breadman" comes twice a week to sell fresh and delicious bakery items.
	Ed with the guards that alert everyone when a stranger walks by. There is also an electronic perimeter alarm at night, but these geese are alert 24- hours a day. Once you feed them, they remember you and often come by the dock looking for you.
